I live 4324 feet above sea level. I'm beginning to think I must be wrong and live at 8,000 feet and in the mountains because this white stuff you see across the road is SNOW.
It's May 12!! Not March 12!! Time to be planting my petunias!
This cat mint (nepeta) is flattened because of the wet snow. It was looking very pretty.
Spring, where are you??!! I really want you to stay for an extended visit.

Isn't it heart breaking as a gardener when Mother Nature plays these tricks on us? We had a little snow last week too, but thankfully it had melted by morning. I hope yours melts quickly too, without too much damage to your plants. I'll be wishing for sunshine for you today!!♥

Hi Marilyn,
Snow in May? How horrible! Here in Eastern Canada we have gotten a break this year and we haven't had snow since March! We'll take it too. Thanks for stopping by to say hello. Hope you have a lovely weekend and no snow.
Blessings,
Sandi
Whoa! We're asking where spring went b/c summer is trying to catch hold big time. Hot and humid lately. Rained good last night - maybe fill in the cracks in the ground. Already cracks in the ground. I caught up w/your posts. Love the mother's day tribute ... and their photos, and that of your daughter. Turns out when I get here, I forget what I read. ENjoyed the flowers! Just enjoyed catching up and hearing from you! THanks! Love, Jenn
