MY BEST FRIEND

I've been seeing someone the last three days! J.D. and I have spent lots of time together.

As in John Deere
Mowing the pasture.
Trying to get the mustard weed chopped down before it dries. When it is dry, it is dusty and DIRTY!
And it is D.R.Y.
If we don't get some rain, I won't have to mow for a long time.
Did I mention this all makes my allergies go zonkers?

School is moving right along and it won't be long before all I do is work outside in the morning and try to save some energy for cleaning in the garage and in the basement each afternoon. Alex, the SIL, will be so happy to hear this! He is annoying, just like Wally was, when it comes to my fabulous collections. (I love you, Alex!) I just need to help Alex understand that teachers have many collections. Just about one for every day of school! And we NEED each and every item in the collection.

Lazy Morning Luxury

Staying home on the weekend is a luxury for me. Add in the happiness of discovering having my name drawn for these lovely napkins makes starting this day even more so! (I am using the picture from Angela's Tea with Friends post last Saturday). Each Saturday she has a weekly drawing with lots of great items!
You may click on the link or the picture and arrive at her tea themed blog and see what she has this week! Angela, thank you for being so generous with all of us!! I'm looking forward to walking to my mailbox this week!♥♫

P.S. My camera was only in hiding, not gone on a spring break! It was thinking I didn't appreciate it much anymore and wanted me to remember how much fun it is to use it, even tho' it's not a fancy camera. And 23 days of school left this year-I'm not really doing a countdown.;) winking There's so much to do!

90 divided by 2

Yesterday it was 90 in the city.
Today it's 45, cold and windy.

Everywhere we drove, and we drove around a lot, the trees and bushes were in excellent form.

Covered in color!!
I'd like to take credit for these photos, but can't. My camera decided to go on its own spring break. It just disappeared!! I'll have to spend time tracking it down.
Blossoms of all kinds--forsythia, flowering almond, plum, cherry, quince, crab apple, barberry, and most likely a few that I probably missed naming.
Daffy down dilly had also come to town.
It was a glorious Palm Sunday in the city.
