Pretty In Pink

Enjoy visiting The Brambleberry Cottage for 14 Days of February.

Pink is my favorite color, but finding things throughout the house that are pink wasn't so easy. I do have three Glynda Turley rose pictures above my piano. This one can be hung either horizontally or vertically. It fits this way because my piano is an upright grand and my ceilings are just the common height in ranch style homes of the '80's.
Looking at last summer's flower pictures from the yard I did see an abundance of pink. Geraniums...

Pink tulips...oh my, I am READY for SPRING!!
Rose of Sharon, one of Wally's favorites.
Wally's Father's Day rose--very fragrant and a favorite to cut and share with his mom and dad.
My pink lilies.
Phlox in late summer.
There are a few other little pink things here and there that warm my heart each day.

Marilyn,
Thank you for leaving me a comment. I am so sorry about your the loss of your husband. My heart aches for you. I know the pain. Sometimes I wonder how I will make it through the day and then I get a sweet person like you to leave me a comment.
Your pictures are gorgeous and your flowers are beautiful. I can't wait for spring!
I am so overwhelmed these days and I missed your post from yesterday so I went back and saw your angels... beautiful!
Looking forward to reading more of your blog.
Blessings and Hugs,
Donna

Thank you for leaving such a nice post about my angels yesterday. What I do is go and buy old songbooks at thrift stores etc. and use those pages to make my angels. Just make sure the pages havent yellowed. I LOVE your tulips they are gorgeous. The pink paintings are so lovely too. Happy to meet you.

Fresh and awesome pinks to show! I love the feathery rose, Father's Day Rose. It's really neat. I too am so very ready for spring - it's cold rainy and dreary here - but I'm thankful for the rains b/c it's filling our droughted lakes still and maybe we can have a yard again - it was so dry last year! THanks, Jenn

I just saw you big black dog and his name - that was one of our Golden's nick-names. :) Jenn

I loved seeing all those pink flowers. My flower garden is where I get my pink fix. I too just noticed your big black dog's name. We had a huge black lab for fourteen years named Samson. He was big and strong, just like his name. But...he was also gentle as a lamb, hence the nickname BooBoo. Isn't that funny that several of us have used that name? ;)
