David Phlox

I am linking this post to Today's Flowers. There are many beautiful sites to visit! Click on the link or the picture and take a trip around the world.

After a day inside for teachers, coming home to these heavenly phlox was refreshing. I love to double click on the pictures to see them LARGER than life.
First day back for staff-August 10!!!
The air is so sweet in the front of the house that it should be bottled and sold as perfume.
It's odd that I can remember their name, but have forgotten the name of the pink variety. Add pink is my favorite color.

Besides being the first day back to school, I should now have faster internet. And wouldn't you know I wanted to try it out right away and blogger was not letting anyone log on - they were fixing something. So I still had to wait! I'm praying for patience...NOW! ;D...♥♫

Good Morning Marilyn!
No...that's what our water did to the stones and in one day on something light colored..you can see the rust showing up. Yes we have a good water treatment system in the house although the rust still get's through a bit. I have trouble with my gray/white hair but thank heavens there's shampoo for that ;) I hope your day is a good one.

Hey marilyn :)
I thought the same thing about the rose from my camera strap..I was thinking, "I could put this on a purse, I could use these on headbands, I could...." Well you get the picture! lol I'm looking for a nice, pretty, large purse to use as a camera bag, so I saved enough fabric to cover some padding to line the purse. I also thought I could make another rose to add to the outside of the purse to add some dazzle. :)
You'll have to let me know if you make any roses with your huge fabric stash! :) I don't have much of a stash anymore...I've use most of it! I do have some fabric I'm about to make curtains with..but that's another post! :)

Beautiful flowers. Thanks for your nice comment on my post. You know - there is a Mill Outlet in Fort Collins too. I think it is on Mulberry street. That would be closer to you. But, if you do find yourself down here, I would love to meet you.

Hi, Marilyn. I'm coming by via Today's Flowers. Your phlox looks so healthy! I've tried growing it here, but the deer always eat it right down to the ground.

I can't believe you are back in school so soon. We start next week, and even that seems too early to me. But then, summer never does seem quite long enough. :)
