Barn Quilts

Last year I wanted to find all the Barn Quilts in Morgan County. Well, it got to be summer and H.O.T. and the desire to drive around in a car that needs the air conditioner fixed was on the lowest part of my to do list.
This Palm Leaf is on the north side of the Christ Congregational Church. Three colors of green leaves.
It seems that most quilts are not on the typical barn. Maybe I need to get my storage shed turned around so I could have wall to display a quilt, too. It's shaped like a miniature barn, so it would have to be a small quilt block. Now to find someone with a big loader and some time to move it!

That would be nice, to have your very own barn quilt. I'd forgotten about this project, since I first read about it when I found your blog. My son's baseball team travels to Ft. Morgan in the spring. I'll have to remember to be on the lookout for some quilts!

Okay, why hadn't I ever heard of a barn quilt? That is so cool!
