Tea Time Tuesday

Thank you Sandi for being our hostess! I have a link at the bottom of the post to return you to her blog so you will be able to visit everyone.

During the past year I've discovered how many treasures I have that are in my home because blogging has made me look at things again and again! I realize how fortunate I am to have so many reminders of my family.
All of the cups and saucers today were my paternal grandmother's and are smaller ones, reminding me of demitasse cups.
I've often wished I had some chintz dishes, and never once thought about these two sets (below).
However, they were made in Occupied Japan.
As I think about how I've taken things for granted, I never want to let that happen with my faith. This past year has been the most difficult one of my life, but God has remained faithful to me. The eternal God is thy refuge... . Deuteronomy 33:27a

Please visit Sandi's Tea Time Tuesday at Rose Chintz Cottage.

Hi Marilyn,
I just happened to check my dashboard and found your post for Tea Time! I am so happy you have joined me this week! I love your grandmother's sweet teacups! I especially like the chintz ones! I have a passion for chintz, it seems.
I'm sorry you have had a a difficult year! I've had some doozies myself but like you, I have leaned on the Lord to give me strength to get through them. Thank you for sharing the scripture verse! He is indeed our Refuge and strength in times of trouble. I will add your link to my post and I wish you a lovely week.

Blessings,
Sandi

Your comment on this being the most difficult time you have experienced rang so true in my own life. We have faced fierce storms for 20 months now...it has been VERY difficult...
