In ten days the Kale has turned from this:
to more purple showing. It should keep changing as the nights are cooler.
I brought this plant in the house last winter, but it was such a mess that I won't mind leaving it out when the frost sinks lower. Can't remember the name since I got to feeling awful this afternoon with a cough and dry throat and am ready for a rest.
Human contact at school means those germs occasionally meet a host...this time it was me. Grrr.No snow here this past weekend. Ours out on the plains usually comes around Halloween.

I don't want the snow to come until CHRISTMAS!!! Do you suppose I'll get my wish? I doubt it, but it's a grand thought.
