Pink hollyhocks in Taos.
Another lily in Taos in the square where we enjoyed strolling and shopping.
Yellow bush in Santa Fe.
Close up of the blossoms. Will need to research the name of the plant.
More pink in Santa Fe. I actually have this at home. I've heard it called Mexican primrose or Missouri primrose. The grasshoppers here just love it!
Not a flower, but just typical desert bush. Thank goodness for water in this high desert area that keeps everything looking so healthy.

Wish you a happy 4th of July!!
Love desert flowers!!! That lily is wonderful!!!
Happy 4th...
I always think of Hollyhocks when I think of Taos! I live in Albuquerque and we are about 3 hours south. Hotter and less moisture here. Hope you had a lovely time! I enjoyed your post! Jacqueline
Beautiful post.
Thanks for sharing and have a
happy 4th of July!!
I am so looking forward to know that yellow bush flower too, it's pretty right? Day lilies can't get enough of this beauty there are too many varieties and they are all gorgeous. While hollyhocks are also very unique and pretty, a favorite of my tiny visitor the hummingbird. ^_^ Happy 4th of July!

Those are beautiful. I love your blog!

I love all the flowers! I have the pink primroses in the front on my house...guess we don't have too many grasshoppers, because mine are fine. :)
I'm glad you like what I'm doing with my son's built-ins...you should see them now, I've been working hard! lol I am almost done with them, but have a couple of other parts of the room I'm going to be sharing next. I think your hubby would be proud of you for thinking about wanting to learn to build with those tools. :) I know you must miss him helping you with things...I just can't imagine and I'm sorry. I know you can learn to use those tools, I taught myself how to use all my tools. I have table saws, miter saws, jigsaws, circular saws and much more. I keep hearing ladies say they're scared of power tools, but you just have to make sure your fingers are out of the way...that's it. :) It's amazing how much self satisfaction you get when you step back after building something and say, "hey, I did that". :) If you EVER have any questions about your tools and how to use them, just email me, I'd be happy to tell you what I know. :-)
Blessings & Hugs my friend
Missy
