Colorado Roses

Nothing says summer like visiting my DOT and going on a garden tour! So I'm linking with The Tablescaper for Summer Sunday.

The Park Hill Garden Tour was magnificent!!
From the charming company and great driving, even when mom said left, she knew to turn right! We saw magical fairies, their houses, fountains and water features,
fabulous homes, and talked with friendly gardeners and volunteers.
June in Colorado is for roses. Everywhere we went the roses were B E A U T I F U L .
All the gardens were such a delight!
There were roses in bloom in the front yards,
the side yards,
next to the houses,
and even on the back side of the houses.
How about the one above that is two stories high with clematis growing in among the rose!!
Climbers,
higher than I can reach.
Perfect touring weather. All these gardens are protected and nothing like my fierce environment out on the open plains. This might be one advantage to city living, but I'll choose home any day!

Be sure to see what other people are doing in the summer and visit Summer Sundays! ♥♫

Hi Marilyn...

My friend, you're absolutely right about June being the month for Colorado roses!!! It sounds like you and Dot had a fabulous time on the Park Hill tour! You sure got some pretty photos of roses...in all varieties and color! Thanks for sharing them with us today!

Well my friend, it sounds like you are really enjoying your summer break...I'm sooo happy for you! I do remember my days of working at school and that by the end of the year...I was counting down the days til summer break! Hehe! I also was going down through some of your past posts...looks like you are having fun working out in your flower gardens! We have done a little at our place but could do much more! It's never ending though...just keeping up with mowing with all the rain we've gotten as of late.

Have a blessed day, dear lady!

How lucky for you to go on such a beautiful tour. It's been a long time since I've gone on a graden tour and you've got me inspired to look for one.

Thank you so much for coming and being a part of "Summer Sundays".

This is the most wonderful rosy post! You are right, roses are blooming everywhere it seems. Don't you love to see them climb up the side of a beautiful home!
So sweet!

HI Marilyn!
Those roses are absolutely breath-taking....I adore all things roses and those take the cake! :0) Very wonderful tour...I need to go do something wonderful like that!
Thanks for your comment on my blog....it seems like I always forget to take either a before, during or after photo too. It's just so easy to get caught up in the project and not take pics. I have been trying to remember lately...you know, making a conscience effort. (I'd do better if I could put post it notes on my projects telling me to remember...but I'd forget to put the notes on too! LOL)
Have a great week my friend!
Melissa :-)
