Out My Front Door

Pots of flowers greet me as I go out to water early in the morning.
Because it is HOT right now I try to keep them happy with lots of water and try to remember to fertilize them.
The lilies are blooming.
I've had them so long I no longer remember their names.

Petunias do well in the prairie heat.
Walking to the faucet also makes me happy. I'm thankful I have a well for water.
I didn't count pots this spring. I might do that one morning when I'm bored.
Enjoy the color around you this weekend.

I'm always amazed at your petunias. They are so beautiful, full and lush. Ours don't do as well - Bob takes good care of them, but we always seem to have bugs or something going on with them! I'm ready for a cool spell; how about you? Sally

Like you, I plant lilies and sometimes forget their names, since they grow for so many years. My blog photo shows me and a Tom Pouce lily. I decided to follow you on both bloglovin and google friend connect, cause who knows what system will disappear first.

Love the lilies! I enjoy going to your house to see all the pretty flowers. Mine look NOTHING like yours!
So far the color around me is GREEN! Trees everywhere! Can barely see out the window, there is so much green!

What a wonderful display to greet you as you walk out your door. These are fabulous!

Thanks for stopping by my blog on my elk post. When I learned that there were elk in Pennsylvania I was really surprised. The only time I had ever seen them was at Yellowstone. Benezette (PA) is about 267 miles from where we live in northern Virginia.

Have a great weekend :)

Your flowers look wonderful! It's been so hot here, and I know you're getting it worse out on the plains. You're doing a great job of keeping everything in bloom. Just beautiful.
