After the reception at church we had a picnic supper at home. Nothing fancy (i.e. rented=$$) as the whole wedding was
very thrifty.

Never did see these two guys up. Wally would have been right there beside Maxx and Ianne as he did not like to dance!

Even mom (me) danced. That was the
longest song I've ever heard. Sarah and Floyd are most likely laughing at me complaining about dancing
forever.
We've been moving Sarah, Alex, Maxx, and Ali into the remodeled house this week, so we are looking forward to resting up before we move more boxes from here to Denver. She is her mother's daughter, after all!

Neat post! I like simplicity in weddings. Too much overkill and there is no fun! My oldest will be married 11 years this August. Her wedding was simsply lovely. Thanks for sharing and be safe traveling. Moving is always such fun! Hee Hees
Nothing wrong with a 'thrifty' wedding. The service and vows are important and the friends and family who share the day with you - it's better to spend the money on the home you'll share, and dreams that you make together in the future.

Our daughter's wedding was the same - reception at church, picnic at home - good memories just the same, and a whole lot cheaper. I was in Wiggins yesterday, but then we all went to Denver for lunch. Good to see Mike. Rest up. Sally
I like seeing all these smiles on everyone's faces, Marilyn. Truly a joyful day. Alex must have picked a long song to spend the most time with his dear new mother-in-law. :)
