Sunday Delight

Three sweethearts came to see me late Sunday afternoon.
I wasn't expecting a surprise, but what a joy it was to see three of my favorite girls from the big city. The buttons on the overalls have the famous (to farming people) John Deere deer. Click to enlarge and see for yourself! ;-D
The four of us went to supper with Grandma, Grandpa, Zach (aka Santa), and my Ms. Sarah Josephine. ♥♫

P.S. You can see Santa at Grandma and Grandpa's if you click on his name.

Hi Marilyn...

Ahhh...what a little "sweetie pie"! She is absolutely adorable! Sounds like you had a wonderful Sunday, my friend! We didn't do much...just lazied around the house. Ohhh yes, it is terribly dry over here at our place as well and the flies are driving me nuts too! I'm looking forward to some cooler weather...hopefully it will get rid of those little pests! Hehe! Well my friend, I hope that my note is finding you and your sweet family all doing well! How is school going so far? It won't be too much longer and you'll have a little holiday break with Thanksgiving. Do you have any special plans? I'm not sure what we'll be doing yet.

So glad that you came by for a visit today, Marilyn! I always enjoy our chats!!! Take care and have a great week!

Warmest autumn wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

Hi Marilyn! I see above that you had a comment from Chari. She and I met in person last fall when I was in Wiggins for a week for Mike's elbow surgery. What a delightful day that was. The next time I'm in Wiggins we'll have to see if the three of us can get together. What a cutie 'John Deere' girl you have there. I'm an 'International Harvester' girl myself. It's Wednesday - half way to the weekend. Hope you have relaxing plans. Sally

Hey there! That child has the biggest, prettiest eyes ever! OMGoodness she's a doll face! :)
I know what you mean about the corninware outlet! We had one here a few years back and I bought all the pretty raspberry colored pieces for $4, $6 and $9 each...now they're crazy expensive. Our outlet closed too.
:( I was SO excited about finding this set...I just don't think they knew what they had. It was a young couple..they probably got it for a wedding gift and they don't cook! lol :) who knows!
Have a great week lady!

What a cute kid, and those eyes are certainly huge! I love my grandchildren, it's always such a joy to see them.

Dear Marilyn,

My apology for not getting back to you so soon. Thanks for leaving me a kind feedback in my Hibiscus entry of Today's Flowers floral blog (as I got so many blogs). (^_^)

Look at the baby's eyes! They're full of curiosity, vibrant and expressive!

Ain't babies a joy to behold? I got one myself. (^_^)
