Barn Quilt #8

This is Windmill on Highway 34 going into Fort Morgan, if you are going east. I had to wait until a Sunday morning after church to get this picture without the shadow of the grain auger.
When I first found this block, it was late afternoon so the shadow was annoying. I usually go into town on my county road and hadn't starting taking my own pictures of the barn quilt blocks.
The sign out by the road is the logo for Purina--not a red and white nine patch! Jen-this is for you. I laughed at yours with your friend. Now it's your turn.
More snow for tomorrow. Next week--back to school. Nice weather THEN. ♥♫

Thanks for having stopped by here and there. I'm getting back to normal finally. Yeah! YOu mentiond peach blossoms - that tree rarely has many and has only given us peaches one time in 6 years or is it 7 now? Maybe we'll have some this year. MOm's peach tree is usually loaded w/blossoms. Mine out did hers this year! And, that Banksia rose is a climber - it's hearty b/c I'm always chopping on it. Trying to leave it alone since I almost ruined it last year. It's on a fence between us and neighbors and I try to keep it of their side. That almost knocked it over last year. Leave it alone! I must! Another nick-name for our golden as "boo-boo dog". :) Nice name, huh? Your great niece is soooo precious. I just love her sweetness - but those little tight lips in that first photo - priceless moment to capture. COngratulations to you all!! Love, Jenn <><

Hey Marilyn!
I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog on a regular basis, I enjoy reading your comments so much! :)
I love all the quilt patterns you're showing...they're so pretty. My grandmas is a quilter and has made some of the most gorgeous quilts. She made me one for my birthday one year...it's called the flower garden. :0)
Oh, by the way, your niece's baby is just a sweetie pie.......makes me want another baby...for a about a minute anyway! LOL
Have a great day!
Melissa
