Poor Alex, Maxx's dad, had to stay home and work.
Success!! Being patient paid off as two nice trout were cleaned and packed in ice for the trip home.
I was happy watching the two of them fish and going into town to see some of the beautiful flowers. Mountain towns always have the prettiest hanging baskets. My theory is they get more intense light and it is cooler at the higher altitude than out here on the plains where it should reach 100 today.

Love the pictures! Yea on the fish. I love to just sit and look, esp. at water. So mesmerizing!
it was more fun than i thought it would be. the second time fishing was so frustrating. seemed like everyone except for us were catching the fish!
Looks like you are having a wonderful time :) We are headed to the mountains tomorrow and I know I will see gorgeous flowers there too!
Hugs,
Donna
I know about those beautiful flowers in mountain towns -- I go home and think why don't mine look like that!!! Have you seen the ones in Breckenridge? Sally
I could get hooked on fishing like this!
I love the flowers as well.

Hugs to you!
How peaceful - there's nothing like sitting in the midst of nature - whether it's mountains or oceans nothing like it!
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful images!
