There were only these few stems that weren't damaged with our 7 degree mornings in April on my flowering almond. I think it may be time to dig this one out and replace it with another one.
Every spring this bright Basket of Gold explodes with this mound of sunshine.
And now I need to be outside getting some flowers in their summer homes.
I'll leave you with these happy faces with wishes for a delightful week ahead.

Your flowers are so lovely. I am so sad. Both my hubby and I tweaked our backs and can not work in the yard. The dirt and weeds are ugly. Age is so unkind!
But I can see your pretty flowers here and enjoy.
Enjoy the summer and take care. I heard some awful storm is rolling in the Eastern plains of Colorado. Be safe and enjoy this day!
Your flowers are gorgeous! I just planted here after the cooler weather. I'm behind this year!
Hugs,

Marilyn,
I sure have been thinking about you and the journey you are on with a new chapter in Life beginning.
Your flowers are beautiful! So pretty.
May you have a sweet Spring/Summer,

I can't WAIT to see all you are going to do. I'm sooo excited for you and your future. You've done years of work and now it's time to rest and have fun for YOU.
You are the sweetest friend ever...thank you for ALWAYS coming by. This has been a tough 10 days for my state... Battered and bruised and hurting people...but we are pressing on.
Celebrating freedom from school/teaching with you!

Marilyn: Is your daughter Sarah Voas from Biloxi, Minnesota??? I received a tea cook book today from her and am trying to decide if this is your daughter?
Hi Marilyn, it is wonderful to meet you and congratulations on your retirement. I retired three years ago and I am enjoying every minute. I was an activity director in an assisted living building with 93 residents. Now, I go back and volunteer . . . I love these folks and couldn't totally walk away from them. So, now I go in an play guitar and sing some of the old songs that they love from their earlier years.
Your flowers are beautiful . . . I am your newest follower and I would love to invite you over to follow me back. I have met so many lovely people through blogging.
Have a wonderful week.
Connie :)
Hello Marilyn,
Congratulations on your well deserved retirement. I am sure you have lots of plans for your time. The garden is the perfect start. The violets are such a great sign of new beginnings. Loved your garden photos.
Have a wonderful week.
