This morning on the way to school the road was covered with ice and snow AGAIN. My drive isn't as long as some, but it is getting very tiresome to be doing this in the middle of April. Also, it was only 9 degrees! Yes, I know it was warmer than last Thursday, but only by 6 degrees. (My kinder kids can do the math and know it was 3 degrees last week).
When I pulled up to park there were about 6-9 robins huddled in the snow by this downspout. Usually there are only 2 -3 in a group so it was an amazing sight. They looked like this bird below and am sorry to say that I didn't catch them with my camera/phone and had to search on line for this one.
So, I'm wondering if we could have some warm, sunny days for the final four weeks of school? I'd be more than happy to dig out some spring clothes instead of shoveling snow!
♥♫
P.S. Could you also do something about the wind that is creating the snowdrifts across the road? There will be more ice in the morning. Pretty please?
P.P.S.
I love the moisture, but could you start sending it in liquid form?

I'm still not tired of the snow, but then I don't have to go out in it if I don't want to!!! Mike's ready for Spring, too - he had to drive to Denver this a.m. before 8:00 for a math teacher's conference - haven't heard how the roads were; but I put on my 'mother worry hat'. Sally
Alex put away his winter coat last month but I kept mine out! I'm ready to wash and put mine away too.
Geez, is school going to be out for the summer...Err...Winter? so sorry you are all having such rotten weather...Enough already!

I am so HAPPY and THANKFUL our snow has finally VANISHED! Gee..I didnt think it would ever go away..and I'm not bragging because we could still get a spring snowstorm...Hope it gets warmer for you soon! Hang in there..
I don't think mother nature is listening to you. I don't remember such a cold, grey spring in the 20+ years I've lived here, and we're not even getting any really good snow out of it, just a couple of inches here and there!
OH, you are going to have so much fun when you can play, and yes, I would love to play with you. Hope the weather is better!

Amen Sister! I wish that she would make up her mind! One day I am wearing my Chacos and the next I am wearing my snow boots!
I nearly missed this post! Hopefully you are having warmer weather now. It was in the 80's here today and I love it!

I am updating my blog book, that I misplaced so I hope you stop by my blog and send me all the info I am requesting. I am nervous about these changes with google reader. Bloglovin seems ok but still unsure how to incorporate everyone so I do it the old fashioned way. Just need to find my "blog book"! :-)
