The other one is out on Road R west of town on a road I seldom use. There is another one I need to take a picture of when the sun is higher in the sky. I still have a goal of discovering more of this building art in Morgan County.

Barn Quilts
Going down streets and country roads and keeping an eye open for Barn Quilts is fun.
When friend and I were in town earlier this week she spotted this new block on a home that had recently been remodeled. The ivory, green, and wine colors were very striking on the new stucco.

Our trips to Morgan county are usually so short, I never get to go in search of the barn art; but I'm going to some day. When the time comes, maybe you can take me on a tour! Sally
I have never seen on of these....they are SO cool! From what I have heard....WI is the state with the most barns....probably because of all the dairy....I will have to look really close to see if they do this!
I would love to see barn quilts around here however there is none. Maybe I should put one on our barn and begin a trend! Love the ones in your area!
Hugs,
Donna
I love your blog and your work, congratulations. Kisses from Spain.

I live in an area with lots of barns, but never do they have quilts.. maybe I need to ask about this..my S-I-L loves to make quilts but she lives in Texas.
I have seen many quilts in Vermont area but not here in Mass.

Marilyn,
As we were traveling last week-end I saw a barn with a design on it and I thought about you. It was neat to see.
God bless,
