Not Global Warming

One thing country people always seem to be interested in is the weather. Or in this case, the morning temperature. Not the best picture ever, but
MINUS 21!
Out here in Colorado we think this would be appropriate in January during the National Western Livestock Show aka The Stock Show. This is AFTER Christmas.

Ouch! Now I'm having a bit of guilt for complaining about our first big freeze, forecasters are predicting 27F for tonight.

Hope you stay warm.

Thanks for your sweet words about my mantle! How neat that you have your moms skates...I bet they are worn in really well. I love old stuff....my favorite old things are ornaments! (especially if they're pink! lol)

Wow. We dipped just below zero the other night and I thought that was cold!

Have a merry Christmas, Marilyn! I'll be back in a few weeks after my blogging break:)

We hit -13.6 at our house that night, possibly the coldest December night we've had since we moved here. Socks was not happy being taken out in the morning.

Hi Marilyn...

I just read your sweet note and wanted to come over to say hello, dear lady! I hope that my note is finding you well! I'm sure that you are counting down the days till Christmas break! Hehe! Do you have special plans with the extra time?

Ohh boy, it has been cold here lately! I'm really thankful that I don't have to get out in it...unless I just want to. My old fybromyalgia bones just scream at me when it gets cold like this. So happy that you stopped by for a visit. Thank you for the sweet compliments! I really do enjoy decorating for Christmas. You were asking about how to make that snowflake border. I use Photobucket and the snowflake border is a special holiday effect that they have right now. I don't know if you're familiar with Photobucket or not? It's a free download for photo editing, etc. You should pop over there and take a look at it. Just click on the tab that says "Holiday effects"...for the snowflake border.

Sending you and your family many blessings for a wonderfully sweet Christmas, dear friend! Enjoy your Christmas break!

Love ya,
Chari
