Sarah and Ali will live here when the house is handicapped accessible for Ali.
Lots of changes inside and out.
Down and up. This stairway will be safer.
French door to backyard.
New front door where the window is so Ali can navigate in and out with her wheelchair.
New door meant changing sewer lines!
Muscle power to move the dirt.
New layout for Ali's suite. Hmm...wonder where the furnace flue will go?
Haven't seen blue prints for the main floor. I am experiencing this remodel through Ali's mom's pictures. I was able to see the "before" any changes in December. We've been waiting for all the permits, drawings, planning approvals, etc. I have all the fun and none of the responsibility of this whole process.
Demolition of walls and ceilings means carpenters can get busy.
Sarah works for an amazing family and loves Ali like a little sister! They are going to be roommates and Alex will be joining them. The three of them will be a fantastic family together. Between decorating a new home and planning a wedding Sarah is going to be such a busy girl! And I will be happy to help!! ♥♫

I love demolition - not the dirt & mess so much but the anticipation of what is to come. When is the wedding to happen? Sounds like a busy spring. Have a good week. Sally
good thing every one is upbeat and looking for completion. This si the type of work that makes one shake their heads and say "What did I get myself into"
Hope everythign comes together without problems..
best of luck,
~Shirley
Looks like home to me!
God bless them all.
Going through remodeling can cause some tension and ruffle the nerves. I'm still working at being more relaxed while the work is being done.
Sweet blessings,

It is so much fun to change things! This looks like a lot of work but will be SO nice! Look forward to many pics of the progress!
It will be so nice and convenient when it is completed!
We had completed a huge addition and remodel for Amber. We have a huge roll in shower for Amber all handicapped accessible just for her.
Hugs,
Donna
Hello Marilyn,
It's very nice to 'meet' you in blogland! I am so happy that you are my first 'pay it forward' participant. And thank you also for posting about it so soon. Like you, it may take me time to create each gift, but I will do my best.
You can respond to this comment via email, and then we'll discuss a gift choice and I'll get your address to send it to.
Warm regards,
Susan
