I'm Hungry

Being a second generation "German from Russia" one would think I could whip out  cabbage pockets without any effort. Sarah has made them, but me? NEVER. Why? Wally simply could not eat any cabbage.

Today I had my first lesson from my dear momma. Success!! Maybe not the perfect shapes but they didn't pop open. My mouth is waiting patiently for my mom to get up from her catnap so we can eat.

Glad you have learned! Berokes are one of our favorites. Even though I am third generation from Germany, I didn't learn how to make them from Grandma; but did learn from a German family in our hometown. Wish I had talked more to Grandma about her German family. Enjoy your dinner. Sally

These made me so hungry. I know these are good. I LOVE THESE. LOVE THESE. Makes my mouth water.

Bierock are awesome! My Grandma fixed these, and her recipe was handed down to a couple of my uncles that are in heaven now. There's a lady here in town that makes these and now I must go get some at the bakery.

My granddad was German from Russia. Volga river area. He came to the states at 16. My Grandma that made these was German from Nebraska.

Blessings to you and Happy Valentines Day,
d
