Eating at this cafe is edible bliss. Alex and Sarah took me here and it's become one of my favorite places to dine when I'm in Denver. Actually it's near their new home in Thornton, so I'm looking forward to more visits to the Vietnamese Cafe.
My garden has a few final blossoms.
Mini roses in pink and yellow.
A standard pink rose, ready to open, with three more buds. This fragrant bloom may be the final one because the other buds may not open before a possible frost this Friday.
New pansies planted for fall.
Delicate colors.
The baby tears has grown so much and will come into the house for fall and winter.
The rest of the yard is a wreck and is in need of a good mowing. The pasture, too! Weeds everywhere and I'm lacking ambition to work on it. This September was my real month of adjustment to retirement and have decided I need to get over it and get busy. Have a lovely week looking for bliss inside and out.

I think it is perfectly fine that you aren't getting the yard mowed! You have worked for thirty + years and deserve a month off to do whatever you want!
Can't wait to come and see all these pretty flowers!
The last roses of summer always seem more intense, don't they? I noticed yesterday one of our apricot-colored ones was really electric orange! It's birthday week for Caitlin; have to get busy for tonite's festivities here at our house. Have a good week. Sally
I am sure it is an adjustment!
After you rest a bit, I am sure you will get in the swing of things!
Have a wonderful October!
Hugs,
Dana
Don't push yourself! Take the time to smell your roses. The best thing about retirement is that what you don't get done today, well , you will do it tomorrow!
Enjoy

i finally have my computer set up! Hopefully we can eat there tomorrow. Sounds like you have a list of places you're hoping to see. Love you.
You have very pretty flowers. We had our first front a week ago, and last night it was 18 degrees at our house, so anything growing is finished for the year.
Marilyn,
Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind comment about my Remodel. The Tea is wed. so I will be posting by the weekend....

Deb
