This winged creature was delivered by my O.D.S. Short for Other Daughter Sarah, aka Sarah Josephine. She is the younger of the two Sarahs and came into my life about 7 years ago when she started her teaching career in Wiggins. This fairy was a retirement surprise and now is about the time I will begin to really feel retired while everyone is going back to school.
This is NOT a faerie, but is the No. 1 suspect in the falling window box case.
This little sweetheart has a new pot to rest in because I took out the pansies yesterday and put in some new miniature plants.
Watch out for the faeries dancing in the garden during August as I've heard it is their favorite month.

Yay for retirement!
I was thinking about you yesterday -- Mike called and was at school getting ready. I thought that Marilyn is really retired NOW! Happy Retirement! Sally
You are always welcome to come to my classroom if you feel the need! ;0) As long as you join us for our Literacy Lunch!

I am sure you have mixed emotions...a wee bit sad to not be going back to school, but then so excited about all of the new adventures you will have!!

I wondered if the retirement thing was kicking in yet!! lol :-) I want a fairy garden...just haven't had time to make it happen...been busy!!! So, you know shipping on my potting bench would be pretty pricey, right?! lol It wasn't nearly as hard to make as I thought it would be...and REALLY cheap! lol I bet you could dig around and find some bits and pieces of stuff and whip you one out in no time flat!
Love ya girlie...and oh how I wish all us bloggers lived where we could hang out all the time!
:)
Hi Marilyn, I just popped over here from my blog and what do you know...not only do you like harps but you love Faeries. Yours is beautiful! I have a large one in my living room named Gwendolyn. Does yours have a name?
Happy retirement.

Today, my grandchildren all started their school season. We're off to a great start.
May your retirement be a blessing. I slept in today since my daughter was able to take Lil Miss to school. Slept 12 hours. Think I was worn out.
God bless!
