P is for peonies
from a Denver Farmer's Market. Two bunches - a pink one and a white one that Sarah brought for us to enjoy last weekend. There was a pink one just as large as this white one on the other side. Stretch your hand WAY out. Stretch, even more. This beauty was SUPER SIZED! I'm saving the petals for my summer potpourri jar because I want to discover whether or not the heavenly scent will remain as they dry.
W is for water and "we".
While I had help from Alex's muscles "we" measured and dug the hole for the water pan. "We" also lifted my Christmas fountain into place. Then Alex attached the hose to the pump and I filled the pan with water and plugged it in.
I'll need to get matching rocks from my brother the next time I see him so I can fill in around the black tray. These came from his old house's foundation on the farm. He saved the rocks when he tore down the house and used them when he put this piece together for my gift. Best recycling I've ever seen!

Very nice! And I agree with your comment on my blog, I hope we're smoke-free for the rest of the summer, although I don't have much hope for it.
