Fall Candy Can

I made Sarah one of the pop top candy cans so she could take it back to Denver this afternoon.
I added leaves and buttons to hers and more ribbons on the pull tab. She thought they'd be a good idea for Christmas, but I don't use that much canned food...so most likely this won't be in the stockings.

That is such a cute idea! Thanks for commenting today - you are right as the lamp I saw with the souvenir shop sticker was from Loveland. I kind of remember, too, that when we lived in Ft. Collins in the 1950s seeing alabaster stuff in the stores. There is still an alabaster mine going in the Ft. C. area. Right here in our back yard!! Met Mike today in Denver for lunch.
